The Religious School Committee and I are seeking your feedback! This next Sunday, December 14th is our last day of First Semester. Now that the year is half-over, we’d love to have your feedback on what you think is working well and what you think could use some tweaking as we prepare to start Second Semester.

Important Message from Gail Rose
Attention First through Fifth Grade Parents
December 19th is our Erev Shabbat Hanukkah Party. This fun filled musical evening will feature the Shabband and the Talmud Torah Sunday School's first through fifth grade students. The first and second grade students will sing Dreidls of Hanukkah and S'Vivon and the third, fourth and fifth graders will perform Neis Gadol and Light One Candle.
All students are to sit with their parents and will be called to the bima when it is their turn to sing. Please arrive ten minutes early so we will be in our places and ready to begin by 6:15.
There will be a Hanukkah dinner and party immediately following the service. If you care to stay for the dinner and party there will be a cost of $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family. RSVP for the dinner/party at: rsvp@TBSohio.org. The entire community is cordially invited to join in this joyous event.

Kindergarten and 1st Graders got in the Chanukah spirit by making some delicious latkes and edible dreidels!

Libby, our community’s Young Shlichah, was here again this week! She loves teaching about Israel!

The 2nd – 10th graders saw and heard a great presentation on GUCI, our region’s Reform Movement camp. Please call Rabbi Apothaker or me with any questions about this tremendous opportunity for your children. -
Hannah Montanaberg was back this month, and we learned about Hachnasat Orchim – the value of welcoming strangers. Good times!
Important Announcements:
Next Week, December 14th is our last day of school before the end of the semester! We will be having a Chanukah Celebration!
- There will be a new service schedule after Winter Break! Watch the mail for details!
- Starting after Winter Break, we will be splitting some of the Hebrew Mitkadem classes to allow more one on one contact with the teachers of each Ramah. Watch the mail for new room assignments
- BeSTY Chanukah Sale continues on Sunday, Dec 14th! Buy wrapping paper, fancy candles, dreidels and much more!
- Chanukah Extravaganza is on Dec 19th at 6:15 p.m.! RSVP to rsvp@tbsohio.org
