Dear Religious School Parents,
Shalom! Though I was out of the building this Sunday, rumor on the street is that it was another exciting action-packed day at our Talmud Torah Religious School. Thanks to all of the families that participated in one of our family programs during the High Holy Day season! From erev Rosh Hashanah through Simchat Torah, we had a blast and hope you did too. Don’t worry, there’s lots more where that came from! On Friday, November 7th we have our First Friday Shabbat with stories, singing and a delicious dinner. We hope you’ll join us!

- Graffiti!!! Check out the wall in the Kindergarten room! Students made a beautiful mural (on paper) taped to their wall. Check out pictures to see these little Picassos in action!
- 2nd Grade learned more about the Torah this week after seeing it up close and personally last week

Many students are passing into new Ramot (levels) of Hebrew each week. Ask your child how he or she is doing in his or her Ramah.
- Leah Apothaker led a great song session for our younger service downstairs!
- Upstairs students became human cameras seeing “the image of God” in everything they looked at during services!
- High School students in the Tattoo Jews class worked on the High School mitzvah project they will be running this winter.!
Upcoming Events :
Because of students movement through the Hebrew levels, some classrooms are feeling pretty tight as other ones are feeling too big. This Sunday we will move some of the Hebrew rooms around. Teachers will be visible and signage will be clear! This will undoubtedly happen a few more times throughout the year as our students pass through the Ramot.
- Contrary to what I wrote last week, I will in fact be in the building this Sunday. Stop by and say hello if you have a minute!
- This Sunday is our monthly all-school service featuring our Hannah Montanaberg schtick. Please join us at 10:35 upstairs for this!
- Wednesday Hebrew this week from 4:00 – 6:30. Join us!
- On Saturday, November 8th, BeSTY will be going to the Blue Jackets Game!
- On Sunday, November 9th, JuBeSTY, the 7th / 8th Youth Group will be going to play Laser Tag after school. Watch the mail for more information.
- On Sunday, November 16th, Club 56, the 5th/6th Youth Group will be having some inflatable fun at Pump It Up! Watch the mail for more information.
- We would love for you to come and hang out at Religious School some morning. We have great coffee, fast WiFi, interesting newspapers and scintillating conversations!
