Shalom Religious School Parents!

Message from Rabbi Benjy Bar-Lev, Director of Education

Shalom Religious School Families,

DSCF2429We had another great day today at Temple Beth Shalom! Hopefully you were able to join us for Camp Shabbat this past Friday night. It was a wonderful evening. During Friday night and Sunday morning, we had the Sanctuary set up like a big campfire and used the more intimate setting to tell stories and run services in a slightly different way than we have before. Be sure to ask your kids about the campfire in the Sanctuary!

There are two family-friendly services coming up soon. This Saturday, we have a Tot Shabbat Pajama Jam at 10:30 a.m. This service, with singing, stories and art project time, caters to our youngest friends who are 2 years old through kindergarten. If you have someone in the family who is that age, bring everyone with you this Saturday… and stay in your pajamas! We also have our monthly Shabbat Chai service coming up on Sunday, February 20th, that is always a great time. We hope to see you at Temple sometime soon!

Here are some of the Highlights from the morning:
